- Hello! I am an avid reader, primarily fiction -> science fiction/fantasy & horror though I do broaden my horizons on occasion. I also enjoy British humor and Asian horror movies. I dabble in crafts but nothing that I'm spectacular at or very specific. I am a sucker for dogs (and now cats). I have three dogs and two cats currently. I have a long time dream of running a dog/cat rescue. Hopefully that will come to pass. I am a runner, though have taken quite some time off due to mechanical foot issues and it's still unclear if I'll return to that. I am interested in two languages though I'm currently only in the process of learning German. That has come from my love of German 'rock' music (and the beer). Melotron, Rammstein, And One.... I want to sing along and understand the lyrics without using the internet to translate. Also, I intend to learn Czech. That is because I am 1/2 Czech and I've always had an interest in the country. I believe one at a time would be ideal. I'm looking for a pen pal that can help me practice German and expand my fluency (or lack thereof). In turn, I will help a pen pal with English. Without sounding pompous, I am well-educated with a reasonably advanced vocabulary and grammar knowledge. :D
