- Hi, my name is Jay. I'm an American male looking to make new friends. I like the blues, and classic rock. I had a stroke 10 years ago, but the stroke only effected my body, not my mind. Before my stroke, I liked to travel, ski, hike, bike, the outdoors, and to play sports, such as basketball, tennis and softball. Because I am now disabled, I can't do a lot of those things anymore, I still ski although not in the same way. I now have a recumbent tricycle, which I like to ride. I was a computer consultant for 18 years, so I am not afraid of computers. I was also a dealer of Mid-Century Modern furniture, so that is also an interest of mine. While I can't do a lot of things now, I can still talk about them. I am educated, and can talk about a wide range of subjects. Because I now live in a group home, and haven't worked since my stroke, I have lots of free time on my hands. I promise if you email me, I will reply.
