- Hallo. My name is Bill. I live in a small town in Montana. My wife and I have been retired for a few years now. We work at various volunteer jobs around the country - Arizona, Boston, Nevada. I enjoy cross-country skiing, hiking, birding and a little golf now and then. My son is married to a German lady; he and she live in a small town in Germany located between Koeln and Aachen. Our two other sons and our daughter live here in Montana.
I enjoy traveling and have visited Germany three times in the past ... four or five years. I enjoy nearly everything about Germany - especially learning the language. I've "studied" German on the Internet for the past four years. Our town is small, so there are no German teachers here. It's difficult to learn the language without using it. But, this is what I have.
I would like to write someone about my age with similar interests who might enjoy communicating in German/English. I'd be happy to correct grammar/spelling mistakes (or not) and would welcome corrections to my German. I prefer writing to a man, but a woman might work too.
