- My apt resonates with the sound of the ringing in my ears. Dust motes float in the sunlight coming through my dingy window. On the table is my half eaten donut and its crumbs still cling to my yellowish t-shirt.
Strewn about are the trappings of a baby boomer, a confirmed bachelor, former pack rat, and collector of odd cultural debris. On the shelves, walls and tables are useless nic-nacs, movies, music CDs., dinosaur technology, books about art, religion, politics, social commentary, my “artsy” photographs, and a small shrine to Elvis. From my hand streams a torrent of sometimes boring, sometimes cynical, sometimes witty, and often offensive commentary about the state of life in America.
