- I am an Older (68 years) single retired man, living like a hermit in the desert. I have a sophisticated spiritual perspective which has taken me many decades to construct. Some people might describe me as intelligent. Interested in nature, the cosmos, and things like science, politics, even psychology and sociology, though at my age my main focus is on meditation and walking about. Sadly not particularly creative. Definitely not social. I feel too much social/political/activist interaction is a distraction to my spiritual trajectory. I use my computer a lot (too much), and watch YouTube, but do not use any social media. Reasons. What I seek is an older, possibly eccentric, smart Japanese lady, or I guess any older woman in Japan. I have decided to move there in a couple of years. I am trying to teach myself Japanese. I am far more interested in motivating myself for this project than in starting any kind of relationship. By "older" I mean 50s to 60s. That is the age group I like. Also unmarried, because that seems less akward. Sigh. It's hard to motivate oneself, so I thought maybe this would work. So we could talk about various diverse stuff, and somehow I will be learning Japanese. I can be quite funny sometimes, and am skillful at writing. Actually, I could say a lot of things to make somebody interested. But I prefer to just wait and see what happens. I speak English and fairly useful German and Spanish. I was trying to teach myself Hindi. Again not interested in physical relationship. But, well, who knows what can happen?
