I would like to make friends I can really get to know and talk to.
I'm 43, single, and I work about 1500 miles from home. I go home to see my kids about once every 6 weeks and where I'm working it's pretty isolated.
I'm not complaining....I choose to do this. I'm actually quite fortunate as I make a great living. But, yes, I do crave actual interaction with people on occasion.
I enjoy working, you'd have to...to be willingly put into a situation such as this. However, work isn't what makes me ME. I enjoy the outdoors, love exploring places I've never been, and equally love places that have some sort of historical value or story.
I love to go boating/jet skiing in the summer, and snowmobiling in the winter. I love to experiencing all four seasons. I enjoy exploring my artistic side, though if you judge, and judge by first glance, I'm the last guy you'd expect to have an artistic side.
