Second generation born in USA; grew up speaking English/Polish with little German but lost a lot of it over the years. Am very interested in speaking and writing fluent Polish, German (any/all languages but want to start where I have some knowledge). I've been teaching the grandchildren some Polish, it is for their benefit as well. It's a dream to take them back to Poland one day. I offer not only perfect grammatical English, but perhaps slang as well. I find both important in any culture. I grew up in Bayonne, NJ which is an hour to NYC. What a wonderful life, I'm truly blessed. Culture is everything to me. Like my mother, I cannot get enough. It saddens me that this is no longer encouraged, but I refuse to allow society to dictate my passions. After I had my first child, I moved to pastoral Kentucky 30yrs ago. I love horses, have Alaskan Malamutes, live on a large farm. Seeking another person (woman preferred) with a similar perspective regarding teaching/learning language, sharing culture...a Polish Sister, to sum it up! Thank you for your time.
