Hi there, I live on the North Cornwall coast in England, and I love it here. Not only do I live among the most beautiful scenery, but its wonderful living so close to the sea, and very calming for the soul. Live on my own in a lovely stone cottage with views of the sea. I have 2 sons, both married and each has 3 children, who I adore. My elder son, Tony, lives close by, and the younger son, Matthew, lives about a 2 hour drive away. I love pottering in my garden, especially when the sun is shining (not very much this year). I also enjoy crosswords and quizzes, driving my car, and especially having a friend around for a couple of drinks and a lot of laughs. I do so enjoy laughing, such a good tonic, and it keeps you young ! I haven't done a lot of travelling, didn't even go abroad until I was in my mid 30's, but have been on holiday to Majorca, and have been to Florida 4 or 5 times. Always wanted to go to Canada, and quite fancy somewhere like New Hampshire in the USA. I have a sister-in-law living in Iowa, and always mean to visit, but haven't managed it yet. One of my favourite TV programmes was The West Wing about the White House, but although I own DVD's of the whole series I still don't understand American Politics !! I love Crime Thrillers, especially Court Room dramas. I work as an Accounts manager for a small company that manufacture plastic promotional products like Fridge Magnets, Badges, Keyrings, Frisbees etc. I enjoy my job and the people I work with, but I do wish I could afford to retire as I could think of better things to do with my time. Anyway, would love to have a penpal, someone new to converse with and have a laugh with. Thanks for reading this, hope you're not bored.
