- I am a retired secondary science teacher. I enjoy writing - mainly short stories, though I have written two (and a half) full length novels, but not tried to get them published. I also enjoy bird watching, though an not a "twitcher", and photographing them and other wildlife. I like listening to Chris de Burgh, Savage Garden- Darren Hayes, Runrig and others. I wrote to my first penpal when I was 11 and was hooked! I am an animal lover, and until recently have had pets all my adult life.
I would like to hear from people in the UK and also elsewhere, preferably with at least some interests that overlap my own
