Description
This platform has many kind friends and plenty of memorable sparks from conversations. But memories always seem to fade into blur—what if there were a way to preserve them with a refreshing fragrance? That inspiration came to me recently while I was conducting optical communication experiments:If you could surpass light speed, the moment you turned back, you would see time flowing in reverse. Your grandmother sits in her old wicker chair, knitting, sunlight dancing in her silver hair—she has been gone ten years, yet the beam carrying her image has just caught up with you. Farther on, your first love glances back beneath the plane tree, the wind still tracing her hair; and beyond, the infant thrashing in its crib, the teenager scraping his knee, the nervous graduate—all versions of you run parallel in the light.Physicists say time is irreversible, but the heart's elasticity exceeds spacetime's. You see everything, yet touch nothing—the wrinkles, the gaze, the warmth of a young shoulder. Light brings them to your eyes and leaves them forever on the other shore. You possess the universe's greatest speed, yet cannot reclaim a single second of reality.Perhaps the meaning of exceeding light lies not in seeing the past, but in understanding the present. Every ray you leave behind whispers: existence itself is a race against light. When you decelerate and the images fade, your heart has changed—you know your grandmother's smile never vanished; it merely became light, travelling through the cosmos.Physics sets a speed limit, but never a limit on love. Love moves faster than light—it reaches every beloved heart before it is ever seen. So if you ask what I would see at superluminal speed, I would say: the full density of life unfolding in slices of light—not time reversed, but understanding completed. You realise that the departed never left, that past lovers still smile somewhere, and that your former self still gazes at the same star.As matter, we can never catch up with light; as spirit, we have long since surpassed it.
