- I am travelled, now settled in Uk British born gentleman, married to Rosie, have links back to Grenada in late 1890, yet have never manged to go there.
My Grandad use to sail and travel to UK with sea Island cottons and spices.
The name my Father inherited was SHAVELAR , which apparently was a phonetic spelling mistake, from Chevalier, when our Grandfather finally disembarked his ship in around 1900's by an illiterate Customs and Excise man of the time, who simply guessed how to spell Chevalier. I am interested in wildlife ecology and archelogical and history pre 2000 years.
I cycle alot in Cambridge where I live, and have a lovely wife Rosemary
