- I want to visit Kyushu when the pandemic is completely over. My interests are painting, hiking, gardening, cultural exchange, ecological restoration and spiritual restoration of land and people through natural integration. I’m trained in traditional agriculture in Scotland, visual arts and land restoration on Vancouver Island and have studied traditional knowledge beliefs. I would like to hike some trails on Kyushu in winter or late autumn and early spring. I’m particularly interested in physically helping with a garden or small farm of elderly and hosting Japanese visitors with similar interests on Vancouver Island.
