- I am an American living in Scotland. My partner and I are considering moving to Canada in two-three years and I would like to start corresponding with Canadians in an effort to learn more about your culture. We hope to settle in the North East; Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or maybe even Ontario so pen pals from those regions would be preferred.
I am not looking for dating or anything else, just a plain old pen pal who is willing to share what your daily life is like.
For your information, I am a 46 year old woman with a partner (soon to be husband) three grown sons and a daughter of 15. I play violin in our local symphony and work for the local council. I also teach basket weaving (stop laughing; it is fun) Gardening, hill walking and beach bumming are among my other hobby's.
I have travelled extensively in my lifetime and love living in Scotland (13 years so far). However, we feel it might be time for a change in the next few years and Canada is close to my family yet without all of the crazy American attitudes. I'm a socialist so have a lot of problems with the American culture. Christians drive me insane!
